Gauge One Model Railway Association:

75th anniversary celebrations

1-2 October 2022

Bicester Heritage, Buckingham Road, Bicester, Oxon OX27 8AL

It is with great pleasure we would like to announce the Gauge 1 Model Railway Association’s 70th Anniversary celebration to be held at Bicester Heritage on the 1st and 2nd of October 2022.

As with all Birthday Parties we’ve invited all our friends so there will be plenty of attractions for everyone – all the best Gauge 1 has to offer along with a wide variety of layouts from scales from 5 inch gauge to Z and a host of attractions from the heritage sector.

If you’re interested in attending this show as a trader or exhibitor, please contact Stuart Hithersay (details in the G1MRA magazine, or email eventsmanagement@g1mra.com).

Other things to do:

Whilst we love railways, we understand that not everyone does, so here’s just a few things other members of the family might like to enjoy while you’re at the show:

Bicester Village: if retail therapy is your bag, Bicester Village is a fantastic shopping experience, with more than 160 boutique and world leading brands (less than 2 miles away from the show).

Bicester town centre: Bicester is a lovely market town which has a history dating back to Saxon times. Why not have a wander round and enjoy a bite to eat in one of the local shops?

This will be like no other show the association has staged before not only featuring the best of gauge 1 but as with all good birthday parties we’ll be inviting all our friends from the worlds of model railways and model engineering.

Bicester Heritage has become a hub for the world of vintage cars, motorcycles and racing and offers us a fantastic ex RAF hanger in which to stage what we hope will be a truly great celebration of our 75th anniversary. Keep your eyes on your NLJ and on the G1mra.com website for more details.
